Sunday, September 27, 2009 Millstone Trailblazers along with Open Space and Farmland Preservation Council will host the Millstone River Inaugural Ride to celebrate the completion of the first of five trail loops which will comprise the Millstone Trail Network. This trail loop contains nine contiguous trails totaling 10.5 miles. Most of this trail was funded by a grant awarded to the Millstone Trailblazers by the Federal Highway Administration's Recreation Trails Program through the state of New Jersey's Environmental Protection Agency. The proceeds from this trail ride will go towards maintenance and completion of the remainder of the trail network.
